It has come to the attention of the City as well as other
water users along Jest Pine, that you are connected to a small
water line that was placed many years ago. Also, that yot,+ did
not participate with Mr. Alleman when he placed a 4" line in
this area.
It will be necessary for you to pay a share in the laying
of the water line that is now being placed in your area. This
smaller line will be abandoned in the near future and it will
be appreciated if arrangements can be made in order that an
orderly change -over can be provided.
The amount due is $105.00 which can be arranged for by
contacting the City Clerk.
For the Mayor and Council
Sincerely yours,
Herald J. Cox

not answered in a former conversation at the City Hall.
Mr. McFaddan, we believe, is not connected to the 4 inch
line that was laid by Mr. Alleman. Mr. McFaddan is being
notified that he must participate in the costs of the laying
of this new line.
If there is further questions contact this office.

Honorable Mayor and Council
City of Meridian, Idaho
728 Meridian Street
Meridian, Idaho 83642
Gentlemen:
Mr. Vern Alleman of Meridian, Idaho, has requested the City
of Meridian to inform him of the availability of sewer service to his
property located at 842 West Pine Avenue.
The City has constructed an eight -inch sewer line in Pine
Street which can serve property immediately North of Pine Street. The
line was not intended to serve property other than those residences
adjacent to Pine Avenue. However, it must be noted that the sewer
line cannot be put into service until both the new Wastewater Treatment
Plant and Phase III Sewer Line Construction Projects are complete.
Property owned by Mr. Alleman which cannot be sewered to
Pine Avenue can be served by a temporary lift station with discharge
to Pine Avenue and ultimate gravity flow to Linder Street via a sewer
line in Leisman Addition, provided the necessary right of way can be
obtained. City policy in the past has been for the developer to pay
all costs of providing sewer service to their property.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
Sincerely,
J -U -B ENGINEERS, Inc.
