AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS
A TRACT OF LAND WHICH IS PART OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK 6 OF WELKER
SUBDIVISION, MERIDIAN, IDAHO AND A PART OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF
THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 12, ALL IN SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 3
NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST OF THE BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to amend and change the zoning from (R-4)
Residential District to (R-15) Residential District for the land
described in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1, That the real property, which is described as
follows:
A TRACT OF LAND WHICH IS PART OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK 6 OF
WELKER SUBDIVISION, MERIDIAN, IDAHO AND A PART OF THE
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 12, ALL
IN SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST OF THE
BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; MORE PARTICULAR
DESCRIBED TO WIT:
BEGINNING AT A POINT S. 0°15 3/4' W., 756.25', FROM
THE NORTH 1/4 SECTION CORNER OF SECTION 12, POINT
BEING THE NW CORNER OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK 6 OF WELKER
SUBDIVISION, MERIDIAN, IDAHO;
THENCE S. 48°07' E., 165.43 FEET TO A POINT;
THENCE S. 24°14' W., 116.64 FEET TO A POINT;

be, and the same is hereby rezoned from (R-4) RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT to (R-15) RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, and Section 11-2-425,
Official Zoning Maps are hereby amended to reflect the same.
Section 2. That the development of the property and the
construction of dwellings thereon is subject to Design Review.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as required by
law.
