AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS
A PORTION OF SECTION 1, T. 3N., R. 1 W., BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA
COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to amend and change the zoning from (R-4)
Residential District to (R-8) Residential District for the land
described in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1. That the real property, which is described as
follows:
A PORTION OF SECTION 1, T. 3 N., R. 1 W., BOISE
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SW CORNER OF SECTION 1, T. 3 N., R.
1 W., BOISE MERIDIAN, THENCE
N. 89°41'50" E. 800.00 FEET, THENCE
N. 0°28'11" W. 33.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,

be, and the same is hereby rezoned from (R-4) RESIOENTIAL
DISTRICT to (R-8) RESIDENTIAL OISTRICT, and Section 11-2-425,
Official Zoning Maps are hereby amended to reflect the same.
Section 2. That even though the zoning of the above
described land is R-8 there shall only be allowed single family
dwellings to be constructed on the property.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as required by
law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this ~_ day of ` ,
