It is my opinion that two of the conditions listed in the staff report will cause problems for the development. First, the condition of continuing Corporate drive through to the entire development. The long term plan is to have Corporate Dr. be a through road but the initial cost of construction of the entire road would be too great. If the fire and police departments want to pay for the construction, it is not a problem. Second, is the condition of driveway access to Meridian Rd. It has come to my attention that there is a settlement agreement with ACHD to get access to Meridian Rd. I think this condition can be re-worded for the location to be approved by ACHD. It is my understanding that further information will be provided to you in regards to the ACHD settlement agreement. If you have any questions please let me know. This item is scheduled to be on the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda on August 21, 2008. The public hearing will be held at City Hall, 3 E. Idaho Avenue, beginning at 7 pm.
