Ms. Kaley,
Thank you for your comments. I have forwarded them to our City Clerk, Jaycee Holman, to include with the public
record assuring that the Planning and Zoning Commissioners have this for their public hearing. They will also be
included in the record for Council's consideration when the time comes. We appreciate that you took the time to
comment.
Sincerely,
Mayor Tammy de Weerd

Message
The Meridian Vision states in
part "The partners want to
better coordinate land use and
transportation planning to
ensure that growth is orderly
and beneficial for the
community's continued
prosperity and quality of life."
Rezoning the SE corner of
Eagle and Victory is NOT
beneficial to those of us that
live in the area. Woodhaven
and Thousand Springs
Subdivision butt up against
the proposed rezoning land.
We do not need another
Wahnart or Bank since there
are several within a 2 mile
radius. The SoutWest corner
of Eagle and Victory has
already been rezoned for this
type of use so why do we
need to change our rural area
even more. It is senseless and
detract from the rural feel we
enjoy here. Many of us
purchased homes in this area
based on the Comprehensive
map that this was zoned low
density. We don't have to
travel far to get to commercial
entities. Please deny the
application to rezone SE
Eagle and Victory. Many
homeowners are adamantly
against it. Several of us cannot
make it to the P&Z meeting
tomorrow night so please let
our voices be heard. Vote no.
This is NOT the best use of
the land, it will devalue
homes, it will detract from the
peaceful life we have enjoyed

here, and it will make increase
noise, traffic, and greatly add
to the higher risk of accidents
since there are no sidewalks
and the streets are sma112
land country roads.
Respectfully submitted, Linda
Kaley
