AN ORDINANCE TERMED THE "INTERIM EXPENDITURE ORDINANCE" TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND OTHER CURRINT
EXPENSE INCURRID BX THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, DURING THE PERIOD
OF JANUARY 1ST TO MARCH 31ST, 1977.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section.l. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$50,000.00 to defray salaries and other expenses of the City
of Meridian during the period of January 1 to March 31, 1977, -
while the Mayor and City Council prepare the proposed budget,
holds a public hearing and adopts the annual appropriation bill.
Section 2. WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefor, which
is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shell take effec"t
and be in force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as required by law.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of
the City of Meridian, Ads County, Idaho, this 3rd day, of January,
1977.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed Bids will be received by the City of Ieridian, Ada County,
Idaho, hereinafter known as the Owner, at the City Hall, 728 Meridian Street,
Meridian, Idaho, until Jc.e~ 3 /577 at the hour of ~ o'clock, p.m. pre-
vailing local time at which e the Proposals will be opened and publicly read.
The work contemplated under [he Project consists of the following:
Approximately two hundred and sixty (260) linear feet of forty-two (42)
inch open-jointed concrete pipe, with a drain inlet structure at the entrance
and connection to an existing forty-two (42) inch corrugated steel pipe;
Approximately fifty-five (55) linear feet of thirty-six (36) inch open-jointed
concrete pipe, with a drain inlet structure a[ the entrance, connection to the forty-
two (42) inch open-jointed concrete pipe and connection to a six (6) inch drain
line;
Approximately one hundred sixty-five (165) linear feet of ten (10) inch
corrugated steel pipe;
Approximately two hundred five (205) linear feet of three (3) inch water
main, with connections;
Approximately two hundred seventy (270) linear feet of four (4) inch sewer
service pipe, with one (1) two-way cleanout and connections. to restroom and
existing sewer line;
Approximately seventeen hundred and seventy-five (1775) square yards of
gravel access road and parking lot;
Approximately .nine and one-thiaC~c(9.33) acres of site grading.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifi-
cations, and Forms of Proposal Bond, Performance, Payment Bond, and other Contract
Documents may be examined at the office of J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc., 212 Tenth
Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho. A copy of said documents may be obtained at the
above office upon payment of a charge of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) per set. Any
unsuccessful Bidder, upon returning such set promptly and in good condition, will
be refunded his payment.. Any Non-Bidder upon so returning such set in good con-
dition will be refunded Fifteen Dollars ($15.00). Payment is to be made [o J-U-B
ENGINEERS, Inc., ,Tampa, Idaho.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or
all Bids.
Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and sub-
ject [o the conditions provided in [he Information for Bidders.
