The City Council of the City of Meridian, Ada County,
Idaho, met in special public session at the regular meeting
place of the council in the City Hall in the City of Meridian at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on August 31, 1977. The roll ivas called and
the following found to be present:
Don M. Storey,
John R. 1v'avarro,
Marvin R. Bodine,
Kenneth Rasmussen,
Richard Williams,
Absent:
None

After the meeting had been duly called to order, the
minutes of the preceding meeting read and approved and the
conduct of other business, the t?ayor announced that one of the
purposes of the meeting was to call for redemption on October 1,
1985, $2,040,000 principal amount of the. out standing Water and
Sewer Revenue Bonds of the city dated October 1, 1975•

Thereupon the following resolution, which was
introduced in written form by Marvin R. Bodine was read
in full and pursuant to motion made by Kenneth Rasmussen , and'
seconded by John R. Navarro , v:as adopted by the following
vote:

Kenneth Rasmussen
Richard Williams
Nay: None.
The resolution was thereupon signed by the Mayor,
attested by the City Clerk, was ordered recorded and is as
follows:
A RESOLUTION calling for redemption on October 1,

Sewer Revenue Bonds of the City of Meridian,
Idaho, dated October 1, 1975.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City
of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, as follows:
Section 1. That $2,040,000 principal amount of Water
and Sewer Revenue Bonds of the City of Meridian, Idaho ("1975
Bonds"), dated October 1, 1975, numbered 58 to 465, inclusive,
due serially in numerical order on October 1 of each of the
years 1986 to ?_005, inclusive, are hereby called for redemption
on October 1, 1985.
Section 2. That notice of redemption of the 1975 Bonds
shall be given by the City Clerk of the City of Meridian in
substantially the following form:

NOTICE OF REDEMPTION
CITY OF MERIDIAN
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, has called and does hereby
call for redemption the following described revenue bonds:
All outstanding Water and Setiver Revenue Bonds,
dated October 1, 1975 of the City of Meridian, maturing
after October 1, 1985 are to be redeemed on October 1,
1985 at The Idaho First National Bank in the City of
Meridian, Idaho, at the price of par and accrued
interest to the aforementioned redemption date plus
a premium in an amount equal to four percent (4~) of
the principal amount of each such bond so redeemed
prior to maturity.
Notice is further given that funds available to pay
the redemption price for each such bond will be available at
the place of payment on the redemption date and that interest
on said bonds shall cease to accrue from and after that date.

Section ~. That the City Clerk is, immediately
subsequent to the delivery of $2,040,000 Water and Sewer Revenue
Refunding Bonds of the City dated September 1,1977, directed to
cause the foregoing notice of redemption to be published one time
1n the earliest available edition of The Daily Bond Buyer, a
financial newspaper published in the City of New York, New York.
In addition, the City Clerk is directed to send a copy of said
notice by registered mail, postage prepaid to: (a) the paying
agent bank for the 1975 Bonds, The Idaho First National Bank in
Meridian, Idaho; (b) the original purchaser of the 1975 Bonds,
Miller - Schroeder Municipals, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota; and
(c) the holder of any 1975 Bond iahich is registered as to principal
on the books of the City Treasurer as Registrar.
