VAR 08-006 of Sylvia Maxwell a~~~~g ~+~pa dm ~~
In reference to the above mentioned Variance, I have been to Ms. Maxwell's home and
have seen the patio and arbors in question. They are a nice addition to her back yard and
pose no interference to the back neighbor's view. In fact, the only view the neighbor has
is of roof tops, trees, and into Ms. Maxwell's back yard. She put the patio and arbors in to
create some privacy from the complaining neighbor, who built a second story onto his
home, which in turn looks into Ms. Maxwell's back yard. Her additions are aesthetically
pleasing to the eye and compliment her yard nicely. When the foliage grows up on the
arbors it will be very attractive and still not obstruct any "view" from the back neighbor.
It will provide more greenery for him to admire..
Ms. Maxwell applied for and obtained permission from the Homeowners Association
prior to putting in her arbors. For this reason alone, her Variance should be granted.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
