Building Bridges Child Development Center was founded by parents who
were not satisfied with the quality and care currently available in this
area. It is a part of our mission to "set the standard for the care and
development of children in an environment which promotes education
and safety". The current zoning ordinance for the city of Meridian
impedes us from doing this. As the chosen location is ideal for a first rate
child development center, it's current zoning is R4, we respectfully
request a conditional use permit to operate this first rate child
development center. The planned facility is a first rate center and unlike
any other in the state. The building is larger than almost all other centers
in the region. This allows us to educate and care for the children in a
comfortable environment while keeping child to teacher ratios low.

All landscape azeas regulated by the City Landscape Ordinance (12-13) shall be served with an
automatic underground irrigation system. Additional requirements affecting pressurized irrigation
systems can be found in City Ordinance 9-1-28.

Use ofnon-potable irrigation water is required when determined to be available by the City Public
Works Department as regulated by City Ordinance 9-1-28. If city potable water is used, a
separate water meter is recommended so the owner can avoid paying sewer fees for irrigation
water. Potable water shall not be used as a primary irrigation water source on non-residential lots
with more than '/z acre of landscaping. Year round water availability is also required by
connecting to city potable water or an on-site well as a secondary source.
