To Whom It May Concern;
We the undersigned would Ilke to be on record as opposed to rezoning of, and
issuance of a conditional use permit to Elisha Ricky in applicadon No. R208-
Oly1 for 1353 West First Street.
Upon commission of the "Assisted Living" residence (Xatest opening), our
neighborhood has experienced young men loitering on the block, walking td and
fro on the street, kicking aver SSG trash cans an expediential increase in ponce
active, with code enforcement being called concerning abandon cars. dne young
male has been observed as standing near the southeast corner of said property
"i~,ering" at a female family member while she does yard work in our front
yard.
We hold, our neighborhood property value will suffer with this added "assisted
Iving". Current property conditions are in peril, and we are not in favor of an
added distraction in this market.
We are not totally informed about such an "'Assisted L.iving" being located so
near a grammar school; however, tt would be within four blocks of the Meridian
Elementary School. The appearance of these young nsales does not endear much
confidence. We therefore would ask the City of Meridiian to deny the application
submitted.
