This Task Order is issued by Owner and accepted by the Hydrogeologist pursuant to
the mutual promises, covenants and conditions contained in the Agreement between

SUPPLY WELL #17 WELLHEAD PLUMBING MODIFICATION
PURPOSE
The Hydrogeologist's scope of services, time of completion and compensation shall be
as set forth herein. Services shall generally be described as Engineering Consulting
Services per the ConsultanYs proposal dated May 6, 2008.
TASK 1.1 - CITY WATER WELL #17 WEL~ HEAD PLUMBING MODIFICATION
Per the City's request, and under the supervision of the City Enginee~4, Hydrogeologist
will evaluate, design, and inspect reconstructive maintenance on City municipal water
supply Well #17 pump house plumbing. The reconstructive design, oversight, and
documentation will include work tasks such as 1) bypassing the existing variable-
frequency drive unit, 2) sizing and installation of a Cycle Stop Valve, 3) installation of an
electrical panel, and 4) on-site fabrication of well head plumbing to incorporate the new
fixtures and to conve-t the previous line-shaft turbine pump installation to a submersible
turbine pumping plant. The Hydrogeologist will also provide inspection services for the
Contractors perForming the work and will provide all record drawings of the work
including as-built diagrams of the pumping plant, Operations and Maintenance manuals
for alt equipment, and a final comprehensive report of the pumping pfant change over
and mddifications to the well house plumbing.
The Owner will provide all available information necessary to conduct the modifications.
Hydrogeologist will perform all measurements, design the modifications for approval by
the City, conduct the work, and carry out pump testing as necessary. Hydrogeologist will
develop any necessary change orders to the work and keep the City regularly updated
with respect to the work.
Hydrogeologist will work closely with the City's Public Works Department and the City's
Water Department.
TIME OF COMPLETION
Hydrogeologic services will be completed on an as needed basis and time of completion
will be set as services are requested. ~v o

The Not-To-Exceed amount for this Task Order No. 0746 is dollars
($17,500.00). The hourly rate for services and direct expenses is attached (Prevailing
Fee Schedule Effective January 1, 2008) and by this reference made a part hereof.
