Canning: This letter fulfills the department's request of a project narrative for the Preliminary Plat application for the Paramount South 60 Project. This property potentially consists of 211. single family building lots and l l common area landscape lots on 59.81 acres. The proj*ect is currently zoned RUT in the County with proposed annexing and zoning to R-8 in Meridian l City. The proposed project is located just north of McMillan Road and east of Linder Road. For any questions or comments, please contact Jay Waller at Brighton Corporation at the number below r Gene Smith of Engineering Northwest at 208 376-5000, We are working with the agencies to meet all requirements and/or conditions set her the City relating to the preliminary plat application and approval. This narrative also serves as a variance request on the over length block adjacent to the future high school site. At this block, Paramount nt and the Rocky Mountain High School have designed a sewer stub out location. Besides suer connectivity for future development, the over length block will assist In limiting access to the back corner of the high school where the school has expressed safety concerns near practice fields. We appreciate your consideration for this variance. We will work with the City to meet all requirements and provisions of the UDC through acceptable engineering, architectural and surveying practices and local standards. A table is attached showing recorded information and a map with the test hole locations shown. Test hole THI remained dry to 168 inches throughout the period. Peak levels of 145 inches below ground level. and 125 inches were recorded in test holes TH1 and TH2. Those readings are highlighted in red on the table. Levels have dropped in those two locations since those readings. Measurements at other sites in the vicinity show that groundwater levels have peaked for the year. In addition, data indicates that 2005 is a "normal" year as far as water table depths.
