We have reviewed this submittal and offer the following comments:
APPLICATION SUMMARY
The applicant, t, a eyng neer g, Inc. has requested approval of a time extension to record the final plat
for Silverleaf Subdivision No. 4. The a plat consisted of 52 single-family residential building lots and
common area lots on 10.99 acres in an --4 zone.
ThO final plat for Silverleaf Subdivision No. 4 (FP -05-032) was approved by CityCouncil on May 1
2005 and will expire on May 17, 2006. The applicant is requesting an eighteen month timeextension to
record the final plat as it has been submitted for signature by the City Engineer and will not be recorded
by the expiration date, or this reason, they are unable to meet the time requi
'rements specified in Unwed
Development Code {UDC} 11-6B-7.
The City of Meridian's idian's Unified Development Code (UDC I I -6B-7) allows the Director to authorize a
single etens'on of time to record the final plat, not to exceed 18 months, when the applicantes a
Witten request for an extension prior to the expiration of the plat, which the applicant has doze. As
mentioned above, the applicant is requesting an eighteen month time extension. Additional time
extensions up to 18 months as deterred and approved by the City council may be granted.
With aH extensions, the City may require compliance with the current provisions of the UDC as a
condition for granting a time extension (UD C I I -6B-7 Q. St ,ff believes that there are no additional
conditions that should he added to those approved by the City Council with the final plat for this
subdivision.
LOCATION
The property is located on the south side of Ch den boulevard, approxu'nately V4mlle cast of N. Ten
Mile Road, in the NW Y40f Sermon 26., TAN., R. 1W,
