SUBJECT: File/Subdivision -Nola Road request to Vacate

The following will be the requirements and/or concerns to provide minimum levels of fire protection for
the proposed project:
If this vacation is approved the property located at 1854 E. Lanark St. will -have not turnaround in
the NW corner of the parking lot. Currently the outlet that provided back onto Nola removes the
requirement for the turnaround. The Fire Code requirement is that roadway greater than 150 feet
in length that is not provided with an outlet shall be required to have an approved turn around.
All access internal roads shall have a turning radius of 28' inside and 48' outside radius. Please
contact the Meridian Fire Department for approved turnaround options.
