Add 6A: Punning Department: If amenable, I would like to ask Council for som q~ ~`~e1~ er~t4on
on how you would like us to implernent/collect fees for DAs (see below). I know this is short
notice, so I'll understand if I need to bring it back next week.
Planning Department Report:
Our fee for DAs became effective today. We've had a bit of difficulty figuring out where and
when to collect the fee. The two choices appear to be:
1) At time of application for any annexation or rezone. We could refund the fee if no DA
were required. We recommend that any projects in process would not be subject to the
(}-~ fee. We would collect on any new projects.
°~ 2) Prior to adoption of the ordinance approving the DA. This would require careful
coordination among the Clerks, Attorneys, and Planning Department. We are concerned
that we may miss a fee and/or delay the project. Under this scenario, we recommend that
any project approved with a DA from today forward would be subject to the fee.
Our preference would be to go with option 1 if Council is so inclined.

Staff Recommendation: Approval; the final plat substantially complies with approved PP.
Applicant Provided Written Agreement with Conditions: Yes
Project: Paramount Subdivision No. 16
Outstanding Issues before Council: add changes noted in latest a-mail from Jenny Veatch.
Staff Recommendation: Approval; the final plat substantially complies with approved PP.
Applicant Provided Written Agreement with Conditions: Yes
Project: Canterbury Commons Subdivision
Outstanding Issues before Council: none known
Staff Recommendation: Approval; the final plat substantially complies with approved PP.
Applicant Provided Written Agreement with Conditions: Yes; applicant has noted that they wish
to provide surety for some of the landscaping requirements, but we can deal with that at time of
signature. It doesn't affect the conditions of the plat.
