We will agree to construct the perimeter landscape as described and will bond the southern property landscape to
satisfy this final plat application. We will also be bonding for the landscape facilities shown between Lots 26 and
27 as well.
Thanks
Ryan

Ryan,
The landscaping is supposed to be outside of the perimeter fencing. To be clear, I refer to page 15 of the
Preliminary Plat Staff Report, "In the past, the City has not required the construction of a pathway within the Union
Pacific Railroad corridor, but has required developers that abut the future (Master], pathway to provide a minimum
of 5-feet of landscaping. Consist with previous Council action, the applicant should not be required to provide a
minimum of 5-feet of landscaping along the south property line. At a minimum, the applicant should be required to
plant trees in accordance with [UDCJ (1 tree per every 35-lineal feet) on the south side of the buildings adjacent to
the south property line."
Site Specific Condition for PP-06-011
1.1.2 Provide a minimum 5-foot wide landscape buffer and trees along the southern boundary of the
development.
You may bond for the landscaping. tMll you bonding for the southern portion to the west between Lot 26 and 27
also?

Jennifer,
I would like to state that the perimeter landscape adjacent to the Ten-Mile and the southern property line adjacent
to the railroad will be bonded for rather than constructed prior to final plat signature from Meridian. The landscape
is within the perimeter fence and would be torn up when the buildings are permitted and constructed so bonding
makes logical sense. Please let me know via a-mail, office phone (342-7168) or cell phone (284006) if this is
agreeable for tonight's hearing.
thanks
