RE Bedford Place Subd. No.4 -Variance Request
Our Building Department has received a request for a permit to build a garage on Lot 5, Block 6 of this
subdivision, which is the lot occupied by Mrs. Helen Davis the former owner of the property being
subdivided by Brighton Corp. as Bedford Place Subd. As you may remember a front yard setback
variance was granted to this lot because of a sunroom that was built by Mrs. Davis prior to the
subdivision being platted. A provision of granting this variance by the Council was that a Deed
Restriction be drafted by the developer and agreed to by the City that outlined the sunroom would be
removed when Mrs. Davis no longer occupied the home. You gave me an unsigned copy of a draft of
this Deed Restriction and I am wondering if this Deed Restriction has been signed and duly recorded.
I have asked Daunt to hold the garage building permit application until such time as the deed restriction
is signed an recorded. Please advise me of the timing for this to happen so I can let the builder know.

Re: MV-12-97 Bedford Place Subdivision No. 3
The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) staff has received and reviewed the application and
site plan for the item referenced above. This item will not be heard by the ACHD Commission
unless the site plan is changed in such a manner as to require Commission review.
All future design plans and construction shall be in accordance with the Ada County Highway
District Policy Manual, ISPWC Standards and approved supplements, Construction Services
procedures and all applicable ACHD Ordinances unless specifically waived in writing by the
District.
