HomeMy WebLinkAboutCommentsMeridian City Hall 33 E. Idaho Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 Dear Mayor and Council, May 25, 1990 9 It has come to my attention that the time period I was granted on November 1988 to store a mobile home E.A. Rosselli's property for a period of 1 year while repairs were being made, has since expired. on My intention was to repair the mobile home so that it could be resold at a later date, however, I was befallen with some unforseen financial and personal circumstances that made it impossible for me to carry out my plans in the allotted amount of time. My neighbors have contacted you that the unit is over their "right-of-way" by two feet, thus causing them a problem pertaining to the building of a fence around their business. I have contacted them in writing and have enclosed a copy of the letter with this request. I have permission from my landlord, E.A. Rosselli, to store the unit on his ,back property for whatever length of time I lease the home from him at 700 W. Franklin Rd., or until such time as I am able to repair or remove it. It is being maintained on the outside and it has fire insurance on it. We have also kept the taxes current and are maintaining the property around it so that it is not a fire hazard or an "eye -sore." At the present time it is being utilized as a storage unit. If. it agreeable with you and I can reposition it to the satisfaction of my neighbors, I would like to request an extension of time from you to allow the mobile home to remain in storage on Mr. Rosselli's property for the time that I lease the home from him or until such time as I am financially able to repair or resell it. I do not believe that it would be, or is now, harming anything by just sitting there as a storage unit for the time being. Thank you for your considerate cooperation in this matter. It has been brought to the attention of the City that the Mobile Hame is still parked at this location and has not been removed as per your agreement of November 15, 1988. It is also our understand- ing the unit is still protruding the two feet into the easement. May 25, 1990 that you contact me directly has come to my attention through Hall that there is still a of my mobile home being two feet in the way of you fence -building At the time I was given permission to place the unit on E.A. Rosselli's property, we spoke about the "possibility" of wanting to put up a fence around your business. I was led to believe that at the time you finalized a decision you would be in contact with me, personally, so that arrangements could be made to reposition or move the mobile home so that it could remain in storage, but so that it would no longer be in your way. If it is satisfactory with you, I would like to be informed in writing as to where your property lines are (or are believed to be) so that I might accomodate your wishes and take the liberty of repositioning the unit to the satisfaction of both parties. I really had no intention of causing any hardship or bad feelings and your expediency and cooperation in this matter would be both benificial and appreciated. ncerely, Susan Ojt Quarn trom spq I OFFICIALS LA WANA L. Briscoe, Rosselli, Strikwerda, Barrus, Brent 888-2064 Brent Barrus 516 Meridian St. first 150' "C" the balance Industrial Franklin Rd. by Boise Cascade on west side. 2. Richard Williams: "C" Commercial is not acceptable for 150' depth. Strip Commercial. 3, Meridian Post Office, No Comment on Rezone 4. Roger Welker: The Meridian Fire Department is in favor of the Annexation and feels that the small parcel that is no included, should be included. This will cause a very small enclave and problems for Fire Department response. 5. Bill Brewer: I would approve Annexation at this time, with no rezone of 150' frontage on Franklin Rd. and immediate hookup to sewer & water. P&Z Approved with condition that the Stanley property (created enclave) be produced also for Annexation by written committment. 9-10-79 6. Central District Health: 1) No objections. 2) Approve with Central Sewage and Central Water. 3) Plans for Community Sewage and Central Water must be submitted. 4) Street runoff is not to create a mosquito breeding problem.
