Home My WebLink AboutMiscADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF MERIDIAN AND MERIDIAN RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT Notice is Hereby Given that the City of Meridian and the Meridian Rural Fire Protection District invites bids for the following: ONE (1)1500 GPM FIRE PUMPER TRUCK DELIVERED AND ACCEPTED NO LATER THAN JUNE 30, 2003 Complete specifications and requirements are available, on request, from the Meridian Fire Department Administration Office, 540 East Franklin Road, Meridian, Idaho 83642 or by telephone call to Deputy Chief Johnson at (208) 888-1234. All bids must be sealed with concise statement marked on the outside thereof generally identifying the items to which said bid pertains (Fire Truck Bid). All Bids must be presented to the Meridian City Clerk at the Meridian City Hall located at 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642, prior to 3:00 p.m. prevailing local time, on Wednesday, December 3, 2003. Bidders security shall be in an amourrt specified in the Pumper Specifications. A bid shall not be considered unless one (1) ofthe forms of bidders security is enclosed with it. All bids shall contain one (1) of the following: (a) Cash (b) Cashier's check made payable to the City of Meridian (c) Certified check made payable to the City of Meridian (d) A bidder's bond executed by a qualified security company, made payable to the City of Meridian All such sealed bids which are received shall be opened by the Meridian City Clerk, at Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642. Bids will be opened and read aloud at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2003. The Mayor and City Council and the Fire District Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or portions thereof, and to waive any informalities or irregularities of bids received if it is in the advantage of the City and Fire District.
