Following are the ,results of that meeting. 1. The bid submitted for irrigation, fencing, landscaping, finish grading and seeding is generally accurate based on the approved landscape plan. However, the Patmore Ash trees and the Crabapple trees must be 2" minimum, not 1.5"-2", as originally shown on the bid. Bruce Blaser agreed, and noted the change on the bid with his signature. 2. Bruce Blaser agreed to increase the amount on the bid from $38,398.75 to $43,000 to cover any additional costs in the tree sizes. A 110% bond on $43,000 would be $47,300. Bruce said he would bring a letter of credit to Will Berg for an even $50,000. 3. Bruce also noted on the bid that the Bent Grass seeding would be changed to Red Fescue as per the approved landscape plan. The fescue requires less water than the bent grass. Both require mowing. 4. Apparently Nampa Meridian Irrigation District is requiring a ditch between the freeway fence and the berm, although I have not seen this requirement in writing. It is my understanding that the ditch is simply for runoff during rainstorms, snow melt, etc., and will not be an irrigation ditch that would require piping. 5. The berm construction appears to be proceeding as required, with the toe of the slope beginning at the ditch and the apex at the 25' line. Slopes on the freeway side currently appears to be too steep, but it will be regraded when the soil gets enough moisture to contour the berm better. Current berm height appears to be about 9 feet. Finished grades on the berm must be no steeper than 2:1 and no less than 3:1, with at least 8 feet in height. David makes reference to an e~asting encroachment agreement for fences within the Kennedy Lateral easement that was done for previous phases of The Landing Subdivision. I researched a couple of previous project files and find reference that the Kennedy Latest was piped, hovuever, I can't find a copy of an encroachment agreement 1 assume iF the piping was completed, so was an encroachment agreement Perhaps your project files contains a copy of this agreement These are all of my comments.
