Is the Rockin KB Saloon P&Z hearing still on for tonight? Talked to the owner of Cowgirls in Kuna yesterday and he said that they have discovered that they need 1 parking space for every 2 places of seating capacity. With the proposed seating capacity of 243 for the Rockin KB Saloon that would be 121 spaces. The proposed location of the Rockin KB Saloon has 16 spaces plus an additional 53 spaces on the adjoining site for a total of 69 spaces. We have experienced parking problems at three other properties and hope to avoid the same problems at our property on E. Lanark. Rudy's Grill -Overland Road. The parking at Rudy's is far from being adequate and the cars spilled over onto our adjoining farm. He had to build an expensive fence to keep the cars from disturbing the farmer's crop. YMCA Home Court - W. Taylor Avenue. We have a building across the street from the Home Court facility and when they have tournaments the cars overflow into all of the adjoining parking lots. Our tenants have complained numerous times. Mardi Gras - ~ Street in Boise. We own a building next to the Mardi Gras in Boise which we lease to Microsoft. The Mardi Gras is a dance club which is short on parking. The cars park in our lot creating a problem for Microsoft. The other problem is the beer bottles, drug paraphernalia, trash and other personal items which are disposed of in our parking lot by the patrons of the Mardi Gras. I think it is a mistake to overlook the insufficient parking which Rockin KB Saloon is proposing. Thanks, Brad j Van Auker Properties 3084 E.
