Ladies and Gentlemen:
This application fox annexation; with a proposed zoning of LO, is desirable for the City of Meridian because
of the location on Ten Mile and the development trends for the expansion area. The subject property
adjoins the Oregon Shoxtline Railroad right-of--way on the south, and with this, the property abuts City '
proper on the southeast.
This development responds to a growing need of the Central Valley Baptist Church to serve the expanding
population in this area of the City, and the region.
This development will be'a compatible use, and is allowed by the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan. .

It is the intent and purpose of the Church Board of Trustees of Central Valley Baptist Church to
apply for annexation of the property located on Ten Mile Road to the City of Meridian. To
facilitate the process of annexation and zoning for the development of this parcel of land to be
used as our church site, the Board authorizes Doug Houston, the architect representing Olson
& Associates, as Owner's Representative in the process of this application. This letter
