This Task Order is issued by Owner and accepted by the Hydrogeologist pursuant to
the mutual promises, covenants and conditions contained. in the Agreement between
the. above named .parties dated. January 9, 2007.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE GROUND WATER,QUALITY ISSUES
PURPOSE
The Hydrogeologist's scope: of services, time of completion. and compensation shall be
as set forth herein. Services shall generally be described as Engineering Consulting.
Servicesper the Consultant's proposal dated July 26, 2005
TASK 1.1 -GROUND WATER QUALITY REGULATORY COMPLIANCE ISSUES
Per the City's request, Hydrogeologist will evaluate ground waterquality problems within
the water system, review and advise the City on newly implemented USEPA Safe
Drinking Water Act rules, negotiate with regulatory agencies over regulatory
requirements and seek waivers to unnecessary monitoring. requirements, evaluate
emergent problems with individual City water wells including, Source Water Protection
and response to customer-related water quality complaints.
In addition to regulatory submittals, individual task completion. reports will. be developed
as needed and/oc requested by the City.
The Owner.will provide all available information necessary to conduct the evacuations
and develop submittals.
Hydrogeologist will perform field surveys and obtain field-measured water quality
parameters as needed.
Hydrogeologist will follow through with regulatory agencies to-closure and will work
closely with City's Water Quality Specialist to reduce monitoring costs. while ensuring
100% compliance.
TIME OF COMPLETION
Engineering services will be completed on an as needed basis and time of completion
will beset as services are requested.
COMPENSATION
The Not-To-Exceed. amount for this Task Order No. 1 is twenty thousand dollars.
($20,000:00). The hourly rate for services and direct expenses is attached (Prevailing
Fee Schedule Effective Octobe"r 1, 2007) and by this reference made a: part hereof.
