Dear Mr. Williams:
The water delivered to your property comes from a facility called the Cloverdale Lateral. This
lies to the east of your property and I believe enters for the most part from the southeast corner of
the property.
Typically Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District doesn't comment on water plans unless the
District has some involvement such as operating and maintaining a pressure urban imgation
system to service all the land.
However I did note that you propose to run thru a proposed park and discharge into what is listed
on your legend as the South Slough (aka Finch Lateral). To my knowledge there is no water that
discharges (at least not very much) back to the District's Finch Lateral. Nor does the District wish
to see it started in this area as we have problems with capacity downstream from this project.

I believe the vast majority of this water discharges into a drain ditch which lays approximately
dead center of your property on the west side of the road and should continue to flow that
direction as most of these systems have been in place and piped previously in accordance with the
downstream flow.
Perhaps it would be better for a meeting onsite or over the telephone to discuss these issues at
further length.
