We attended the meeting in April and voiced our opinions concerning our 40 acre property
where we have resided for the past 26 years. We are currently in the Meridian referral area
in Ada County. We have marked it on the maps attached to this letter.
Our property description is:
SW '/4 of NE '/4 of
Sec. 33, Township 3 N., Range 1, East of the Boise Meridian. Ada County, Idaho.
We greatly desire to have our property considered as medium density in your final
comprehensive plan, (not the proposed low density). Earlier this year our property was
listed as medium density in the proposed plan, (which is what we prefer).
We border Rock Hampton subdivision on our eastern boundary and 'h ways across our
southern boundary. Rock Hampton Subdivision is in the Boise area of impact. The other'/2
of our southern boundary is being considered as medium density in the revised plan.
Where two sides of our property are and will be medium density and 20 acres away from our
border to the south will be high density, we feel that medium density would best suit our
property. This would give us more flexibility and options for a variety of lots to be built,
(ranging from low to medium density), within our 40 acres.
Our children all went to Meridian schools and we have enjoyed the Meridian community. We
also own a 10 acre lot in a 10 acre subdivision in the Meridian referral area off of Locust
Grove, south of Columbia, where we would like to build a home and move when we sell our
40 acres in a few years. We have marked this property also on the maps.
Sincerely,
Gordon & Ann roft
