MERIDIAN CITY COUNCIL MARCH 8, 1996
The Special meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order by Mayor Robert D.
Corrie at 3:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Walt Morrow, Ron Tolsma, Charlie Rountree, Glenn Bentley:
OTHERS PRESENT: Will Berg, Wayne Crookston:
Corrie: I will entertain a motion to go into Executive Session as per State code.
Bentley: So moved
Rountree: Second
Corrie: Motion made by Mr. Bentley, second by Mr. Rountree to go into Executive Session,
all those in favor say aye? Opposed?
MOTION CARRIED: All Yea
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Corrie: I will call the meeting back to order out of the Executive Session at 4:56. The
results of the Executive Session we will be working with the City Attorney for a permanent
position on staff and we will have that decision made whether it is accepted on Tuesday
by 5:00 and it will be finalized if it is to be done on Tuesday the Council meeting of March
the 19th. Any further business to be brought before the Council? (Inaudible) I will
entertain a motion for adjournment.
Rountree: So moved
Bentley Second
Corrie: Motion made by Mr. Rountree, second by Mr. Bentley that we adjourn, all those in
favor say aye? Opposed?
MOTION CARRIED: All Yea
MEETING ADJOURNED AT 4:57 P.M.
