The Planning Department is requesting that the Preliminary application for Emerson Park (I'P-
07-014), that is scheduled for the October 2, 2007 City Council meeting be continued until October
16, 2007. The reason for continuance is that the property was not posted within the time period
required prior to the public hearing. Because the agenda on October 9~ is a special meeting, the first
available date that this item can be heard is October 16~.

Signs were not posted 10 days prior to the Meridian City Council meeting for the Emerson Park
Subdivision. At this time, we would like to request a continuance until October 16th, 2007. We will
post the signs prior to October 6th and provide photos and an affidavit of the posting to you not later
than October 9th.
