AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 559
AN AMENDED ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN ANNEXING AND ZONING
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS A PARCEL OF LAND -LYING
IN THE NE 1l4 OF SECTION 7, T.3N, R.1 E, B.M., ADA COUNTY, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Meridian, Idaho, have
concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to annex to the>said City Peal. property
which is described in Section 1 below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1. That the real property described as:
A parcel of land lying in the NE 1/4 of Section 7, T.3N, R.1 E, B.M., Ada County,
Idaho, more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
Commencing at a `point marking the section corner common to Sections. 5, 6 and
8 and the said Section 7:

Commencing at a point marking the Section corner common to Section 5, 6 and
8 and the said Section 7;
Thence South 0°26'54" West 2,649.57 feet along the Easterly boundary of the
said NE 1/4 of Section 7, which is also centerline of Locust Grove Road, to a point
marking the one-quarter corner common to the said Section 7 and 8;
thence South 89°33'52" West 1,418.83 feet along the Southerly .boundary of the
said NE 1/4 of Section 7, which is also the centerline of East Pine Avenue, fo the
REAL POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence North 0°30'58" East 225.00 feet to a point;

is hereby annexed to the City of Meridian; that PARCEL ONE is be zoned R-8 Residential;
PARCEL TWO is zned C-G General Commercial and Service Retail and PARCEL THREE
is zoned L-O Limited Office; that the annexation and zoning is subject to the conditions
referenced in the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law as adopted by the Meridian
Council on the request for annexation and zoning.
Section 2. That the property shall be subject to de-annexation if the owner or his
assigns, heirs, or successors shall not meet the requirements contained in the Findings
of Fact and Conclusions of Law adopted by the City Council of the City of Meridian;. which
are incorporated herein as if set forth in full. The property shall also be subject to the
restrictions of the Idaho Department of Transportation.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of the legal description and
may which shall plainly and clearly designate the boundaries of said property to be filed
with the Ada County Recorder, Ada County Asssesor, and the State Tax Commission
within ten (10) days following the effective date of this Amended Ordinance..
Section 4. This Amended Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publications as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and Approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, this 19th day of September, 1995.
