AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PO~'tTION OF BLOCKS 1, 2 AND 3 °OF MERIDIAN
BUSINESS AND INDUSTR{AL PARK SUBDIVISION-AS FILED FOR RECORD IN THE
OFFICE Of THE At~A COUNTY RECORDER, BOISE, fDAHO, IN BOOK 51 OF PLATS..
A7 PAGES 4274 ~ AND' 4275, WHICH SUBDIVISION LIES IN` THE 'SOUTH 1/2 OF
SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST,-BOISE MERIDIAN, MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, WHICH PORTION IS A 5 FOOT WIDE STREET EASEMENT ON
BOTH SIDES OF THE 50 FOOT WIDE DEDi-GATED STREET RIGHT OF WAY ON EAST
FIFTH AVENUE; KING' STREET, AND BALTIC PLACE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayoi- of the:City of Meridian,.Idaho, have
concluded that it is in the best interest of said City to vacate a portion of Meridian.Business
and Industrial Park Subdivision.
NOW, THEiaEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYORAND-CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY; IDAHO:
Section 1:: `That pursuant to Section 50-1306A, specifically, ands Title:50, Chapter
13, Idaho Code, generally, the City of Meridian, havinghetd the required hearing and it
appearing that proper notice of said hearing was given, hereby vacates the street
easement tocated `m a' portion of Blocks 1, 2 and 3 of Meridian .Business and .Industrial
Park Subdivision, according to the official plat thereof flied in-Book 51 of Plats at pages
4274 and 4275, and lying in the South 112 of Section 7, Township 3 North, Range 1-East,
Boise Meridian, Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, described as follows:
The 5 feet lying Northerly and adjacent to the 50 foot dedicated street right of_
way of King Street lying in Block 2, the 5 feet lying Southerly and adjacent to
the 50 foot dedicated street right of way of King Street lying in Block 3, the 5
feet lying Westerly and Easterly and adjacent to the 50 foot dedicated street
right of way of Baltic Place lying in Block 2, the 5 feet lying Westerly and
adjacent to°tha 50 foot dedicated street right of way of Baltic Place lying in
Block 3, the 5 feet lying Easterly and adjacent to the 50 foot dedicated street
right of way of East Fifth Avenue lying in Block 3, the 5 feet lying Easterly and
adjacent to the 50 foot dedicated street right of way of East Fifth Avenue lying
in Block 2 and the 5 feet lying Westerly and adjacent to the 50 foot dedicated
street right of way of East Fifth Avenue lying in Block 1.
Section 2: WHEREAS, there is an emergency therefore,;which emergency is hereby
declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage, approval and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, this 2nd day of May, 1995.
