ORDINANCE NO. 601
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF DORIS SUBDIVISION', OF RECORD
IN ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, SPECIFICALLY THE EASEMENTS LOCATED BETWEEN
LOT 1 AND BLOCK 2 DORIS SUBDIVISION, LOT 1 AND 3 BLOCK 2, DORIS -
SUBDIVISION, AND LOT 2 AND 3 BLOCK 2 DORIS SUBDIVISION, MERIDIAN,
IDAHO, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL PLAT THEREOF, IN BOOK lE~ OF
PLATS AT PAGE 1080, RECORDS OF ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor- of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, have-concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to vacate a portion of Doris Subdivision,
specifically the easements located between lot 1 and 2 block
Doris Subdivision, Lot 1 and 3 Block 2 Doris Subdivision, and Lot
2 and 3 Block 2 Doris Subdivision, Meridian, Idaho.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF•MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1: That pursaiant to Section 50-1306A, specifically,
and Title 50, Chapter 13 Idaho Code, generally, the City of
Mer^id'i~,ari,- having held the required hearing and it appearing that
proper notice of said hearing was given, hereby vacates the
easements located between Lot 1 and 2 Block 2 Doris Subdivision,
Lot 1 and 3 Block 2 Doris Subdivision, and Lot 2 and 3 Block 2
Doris Subdivision, Meridian, Idaho, according to the official
plat thereof filed in Book 16 of plats at page 1080, records of
flda County, Idaho.
Section 2: WHEREAS, there is an ewer^gency therefor, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall take
effect and be i;n ful 1 force f-rom- and after it's -passage, approval
and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 1st day of June, 1993.
