ORDINANCE NO. 599
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AMENDING AND CHANGING THE
ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN WHICH IS
GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LOT 1, BLOCK 1 AND LOT 1, BLOCK 2 AND THE
SOUTHERLY 35.00 FEET OF LOT 2, BLOCK 1 AND THE SOUTHERLY 30.00
FEET OF LOT 2, BLOCK 2 OF DANBURY FAIR SUBDIVISION NO. 1, ADA
COUNTY, MERIDIAN, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
• WHEREAS,, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to amend and change the zoning from L-O LIMITED
OFFICE to R-8 RESIDENTIAL, for the following described parcel:
A parcel of land being portions of the E 1/2 of the E 1/2 of
the W 1/2 of the NE 1/4 and the S i/2 of the NE 1/4 of the
NE 1 /4 of Section 7, T. 3N. , R. 1 E. , B.M. , • Mer i d i an, Ada
County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the brass cap marking the section corner
common to Sections 5, 6, and 8, and the said Section 7;
thence North 89 degrees 54' 45" West 2, 640.96 feet a•1 ong the
Northerly boundary of the said NE 1/4 of Section 7 to a
brass cap marking the one-quarter corner common to the said
Sections 6 and 7;

hereby amended to reflect the same, and that said property be
amder the covenants,~~conditions, and restrictions of Danbury Fair
Subdivision.
Section 2: That the property shall be subject to re-zoning
if the owner or his assigns, heirs, or successors shall not meet
the rega~irements contained in the Findings of Fact and
Conclusions of Law.
Section 3: That the City Clerk shall cause one (1) copy of
the legal description, and map, which shall 'plainly and clearly
designate the bo~mdaries_of said property, to be filed with the
Ada County Recorder, Ada County Assessor, and the State Tax
Commission within ten (1®) days following the effective date of
this Ordinance.
Section 4: EFFECTIVE DATE: There being: an emergency, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as
t^equired by law.
