33 East Idaho Street, by the Mayor and City Council on the
first and third Tuesday of each month at seven thirty
o'clock (7:30) P. M. of said days. If the said first or
third Tuesday of any month is a holiday, the meeting shall
be held the evening following at the same hour and place and
in the event the first Tuesday of November is an election
day, Meridian City or general election, the meeting shall be
' held the following Wednesday at the same hour and place.
SECTION 2: EFFECTIVE DATE: WHEREAS, there is an emergency
therefor, which emergency is hereby declared to exist, this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication according to law.

AN ORDINANCE OF. THE CITY OF MERIDIAN ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF THE E 1/2 NW 1/4
NE 1!4 SE 1/4 OF SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the: City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to annex to the said City real property which is
hereinbelow described: _
Section 6, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Boise Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, and is more particularly described as
follows:

of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1. That the above and referenced real property
described as:

Beginning at a brass cap marking the East Quarter Corner of

is hereby annexed to the City of Meridian, and is zoned R-8
Residential; that the reason for the R-8 zoning is to allow 21
single family dwelling units to• be constructed on the parcel
which would. be an approximate density of 1 dwelling unit per 4.79
acres; that there shall be no duplexes allowed to be constructed;
that the property shall be subject to site planning review; that
the annexation ancf.zoning is subject tot eh conditions referenced
in the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of-Law as adopted by the
Meridian Council on the request for annexation a.nd zoning; that
all ditches, canals and waterways, including those that are
property boundaries or only partially located•on the property,
must -be completely tiled; that all-Ordinances of the City of
Meridian shall be met.
Section 2. That the•prop,erty shall be subject to de-
annexation if the owner does not designate on the plat that only
single-.family dwellings shall be allowed, construct water and
sewer line extensions to serve the property, and construct
streets to and within the property, meet the requirements and
conditions of the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law and of
this Ordinance; if Applicant fails to meet these conditions the
property shall be subject to de-annexation, which conditions
subsequent shall run with land and also be personal to the owner.
