Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE: There being an emergency, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as
required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this day of
1992.

ORDINANCE NO. 588A
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AMENDING THE REVISED AND
COMPLIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN BY REPEALING SECTION
1-704 AND RE-ENACTING SAID SECTION 1-704, TO SET FORTH THE TIME
- AND PLACE OF. CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and -the City Council of the City of
Meridian, State of Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best
interest of the said City to amend the Revised and Compiled
Ordinances of the City of Meridian by repealing Section 1-704 of
the Revised and Compiled Ordinances, and re-enacting said Section
' 1-704 of the Revised and Compiled Ordinances of the City of
Meridian.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
SECTION 1; That Section~i-704, TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS,
is hereby repealed. - ~ ~-
SECTION 2: That Section 1-704, TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS,
is hereby re-enacted and shall read as follows:
1-704: TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS: The regular meetings of
the City Council shall be held at the Meridian City Hall at

33 East Idaho Street, by the Mayor and City Council on the
first and third Tuesday of each month at seven thirty
o'clock (7:30) P. M. of said days. If the said first or
third Tuesday of any ,month is a holiday, the meeting shall
be held the evening following a~t the same hour and place and
in the event the first Tuesday of November is an election
day, Meridian City or general election, the meeting shall be
' held the following Wednesday at the same hour and place.
SECTION 2: EFFECTIVE DATE: WHEREAS, there is an~emergency
therefor, which emergency is hereby declared to exist, this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication according to law.

AN ORDINANCE OF. THE CITY OF MERIDIAN ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF THE E 1/2 NW 1/4
NE 1/4 SE 1/4 OF SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE..
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the: City of
Meridian, Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best interest
of said City to annex to the said City real property which is
