ORDINANCE NO. 588
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS A PARCEL OF LAND LYING IN A
PORTION OF THE SW 1/4 OF THE NW 1/4 OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 3
NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, BOISE MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, Idaho have concluded that it is in the best interest of
said City to annex to the said City real property which is
hereinbelow described: '
` 'A parcel of~land located in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of
Section 2, Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, and more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the North 1/16 corner common to Sections 2 and
3, Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian, said
point being the REAL POINT OF BEGINNING, from which the west
quarter -corner of Section 2 bears South 00 03'26" East
1,325.93. feet;
thence South 89 44~ 21" East (record East), 1, 323.44 feet to
the NW 1/16 corner;
thence South 00 07'47" East along the East boundary of the
5W 1/4 of the NW 1/4, 544.50 feet (record South, 33 rods) to
a point;
thence North 89 44' 22" West (record West), 1, 324.13 feet to
a point on the section line;
thence North 00 03'26" West, 544.50 (record North, 33 rods)
to the Point of Beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Gity Council
of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1. That the above and referenced real property
described as:
A parcel of land located in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of
Section 2, Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, and more particularly described as
follows:

point being the REAL POINT OF BEGINNING, from which the west
quarter corner of Section 2 bears South 00 03'26" East

is hereby annexed to the City of Meridian, and shall be zoned R-4
Residential; that the reason for the R-4 zoning is to allow 32
_single family dwelling units to be constructed on the parcel
which would be an approximate density of 1 dwelling unit per 3.22
acres,; which would be allowed in the R-4 Residential zone; that
th,e~•property shall be subject to -site planning review; that the
annexation and zoning is subject to the conditions referenced in
the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law as adopted by the
•Meri.dian Co.uncii on the request for annexation and zoning; that
all ditches, canals and waterways shall be tiled including those
that are property boundaries or only partially located on the
property. ~ -
Section 2. That the property shall be subject to de-
annexation if the owner shall not plat the property as submitted
.by Applicant and design-ate on the plat that only single-family
dwellings shall be allowed, construct water and, sewer line
extensions to serve the property, and construct streets to and
within the property, meet the requirements and conditions of the
Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law and of this Ordinance; if
Applicant fails to meet these conditions the property shall be
subject to de-annexation, which conditions subsequent shall run
with land and also be personal to the owne..r.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall cause, one (1) copy of
the legal description, and map, which shall plainly, and clearly
designate the boundaries of said property, to be filed with the
Ada County Recorder, ,,Ada County Assessor, and the State Tax
Commission within ten (10) days following the effective date of
this Ordinance. ~ .

Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE: There being an emergency, which
emergency is hereby declared to exist, this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as
required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this day of
1992.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AMENDING THE REVISED AND
COMPLIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN BY REPEALING SECTION
1-704 AND RE-ENACTING SAID SECTION 1-704, TO SET FORTH THE TIME
AND PLACE OF. CITY COUNCIL MEETINGSg AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and -the City Council of the City of
Meridian, State of Idaho, have concluded that it is in the best
interest of the said City to amend the Revised and Compiled
Ordinances of the City of Meridian by repealing Section 1-704 of
the Revised a.nd Compiled Ordinances, and re-enacting said Section
1-704 of the Revised and Compiled Ordinances of the City of
Meridian.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
SECTION 1:. That Section 1-704, TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS,
i s hereby repealed. - . ,
SECTION 2: That Section 1-704, TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS,
is hereby re-enacted and shall read as follows:
1-704: TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS: The regular meetings of
the City Council shall be held at the Meridian City Hall at
