Good Afternoon Caleb-
Thanks for the time this afternoon to review the current plan revisions regarding the Waltman Annex Application
request. At this time we would like to follow through with your recommendation and postpone our Planning and
Zoning Hearing to continue with the revised plan I project and to work on a preliminary plat to accompany our
application process.
We formally request October 4, 2007 for the next hearing as this allows for submittal and review of a preliminary plat
as an added item to our application process.
It is understood that neighbors have been notified of the upcoming hearing date, I will recommend to the development
team that we mail a neighborhood invitation I meeting request to neighbors in a short time frame to accomplish two
things:
1) communicate with neighbors for the revised plan and notify of second meeting time / date.
2) provide clarification in our letter invitation with the project not being heard on the Planning and Zoning
Commission agenda for August.
Additionally, can I get a mailing label copy, or would your staff verify the mailing list with me so we cover the same
group for notification. Also note for record that we will be notifying beyond the minimum distance requirements so
the larger community to the west will be informed as they have requested.
