SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho,
on January 30th, 1947, acquired by Vfarranty deed recorded February
8th, 1947, in Book 307 of Deeds, Page 9, of the Records of Ada
County, Idaho, the following described real estate, to-wit:-
That portion of the Northeast Quarter ~i) of Section Twelve
(12), Township Three (3) North, Range One (1) West, described
as follows:-
From a ~oint on the section line between Sections Seven (7) and
Twelve (12), Township Three (3) North, Range One (1) East and
One (1) West, 695.8 feet South of said corner and the Northeast
corner of Niday'S Second Addition; thence North 80Q 00' west
346 feet to the Northwest corner of Niday'S Second Addition;
thence South along the West boundary of Niday's Second Hddition
1074 feet to an iron pin, the real place of beginning; thence
South along the West boundary of Niday'S Second Addition 220
feet to an iron pin; thence North 890 50' West 918 feet to an
iron pin; thence North 00 02' East 220 feet to an iron pin; thence
South 890 50' East 917.8 feet to the place of beginning, being
also known as Tract No. One of Scrivner Tract according to the
unrecorded plat the~eof.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, the above described real estate has n9_t. Q:!:-n.ce

SECTION 3. "WHEREAS ,~\.lral High School District No. 1 in Ada'
County, Idaho, is a duly organized and existing Rural Higli School
District in the State of Idaho and situate in said Ada County, with~
in which the said City of Meridian is located, and needs and desires
to purchase the a~ove described real property for public use and
public school purposes, and has by resolution of its duly elected
Board of Trustees, offered to purchase said property for the con-
sideration of $Z,500.00, lawful money of the United States.

SEOTION 4. The City Council of' the said City of Meridian hereby
declares that it is for the best interests of the City of Meridian and
the inhabitants thereof and the said Rural High School District No.1,
that its offer to purchase the above described real property owned by
the said City of Meridian, for the consideration of Two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00), lawful money of the United States, be accep~
and the Same is hereby accepted.
SECTION 5. The said City of Meridian, having legal authority,
under the circumstances hereinbefore stated in this Ordinance and under
the provisions of Chapter 10 of Title 50, of the Idaho Code, to sell and
convey the said real property to the said Rural High School District No.
1 in Ada Oounty, Idaho, the City Council of the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, by and through its Mayor, duly authenticated by its Clerk,
is hereby authorized, ordered, and directed to sell and convey to the said
Rural High School District No.1, in Ada County, Idaho, a municipal corp-
oration, in which the said City of Meridian is looated, by a proper and
su~~icient deed of conveyanoe, for the consideration of Two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($2.500...00), lawful money of the United states, the real
property hereinbefore described in Section 1 of this Ordinanoe for any
pUblic use of said district.
SECTION 6. It is further ordered and directed that upon the payment
of the said sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00), lawful
money of the United states, to the said City of Meridian, the aforesaid
deed of conveyance, together with a Purohaser's Policy of Title Insurance
showing marketable Title in the City of Meridian, be delivered to the said
Rural High School District No.1 in Ada County, Idaho.
SECTION ~. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its approval and publioation as required by law.
PASSED by three-fourths vote of all the duly elected, qualified and
acting counoilmen and approved by the Mayor o~ the City of Meridian, Ada
CountT, I~a~o, this 3rd day of April, 1950.
