SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person under the age
of Sixteen (16) years to be or to remain, and it shall be unlawful
for any parent, guardian, or other person having the care and cust-
ody of any person under the age of Sixteen (16) years, to allow or
permit such persons to be or to remain, in or upon any street, alley
or public ground within the corporate limits of the City of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, between the hours of 10:00 o'clock P. LJ., and

SECTION 2.
The provisions of Section 1 of thisOrdinanu8 shall

not apply to any person who is accompanied by his or her parents,
guardian, or other adult person having the care and custody of him
or her, nor to any person who is in the performance of an errand or
duty directed by his or her parents, guardian, or other adult person
having the care and custody of him or her, nor to any person who is
actually at t.he time engaged in legitimate employment for profit.
SECTION 3. Any person under the age of Sixteen (16) ~Teo.rs
Violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed a juvenile
delinquent under the laws of the state of Idaho.

SECTION 4. Any parent, guardian, or other adult person h&ving
the core and custody of any person under the age of Sixteen (16) years
who shall violate the provisions of this Ordinance, upon conviction

thereof, shall be punishable by a fine in any sum not exceeding One Hundred

SEC':'IJ:T 6. This ordinance shall be in full force ano, effect on
April 1st, 1950, after its ~assage, a~~roval and ?ublication as re-
quired by law.
