Section 1. That the City Clerk of the City of -~Ireridian;~

';~da County, Idaho, to be elected at the election to be held in \
said City on the fourth Tuesday in April, 1949 and bienially
thereafter, shall be ex-officio police judge of said City and
shall perform the duties of both offices.
Section 2. Whereas an emergency exists, this 'ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passBce,
approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the Oi ty Council and approved by the l\.layor
of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 22nd day of
l\farch, 1949.
