Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7 of the City of Meridian, i>da
County, Idaho, be, and the same is, hereby amended by adding a new
Section to be designated as bection 4 (A), which shall read as follows:-
Section 4 U.). j,ICENSE TO BE LIIHTED TO CERT..iiIN POPUL1~TION.
.After the date of the adoption of this amendment, not more than
one beer license shall be issued in the City of ~eridian for each 1250
population, or portion thereof, provided that this ordinance shall not
apply to the holders of the three beer licenses now in furce or that
may hereafter be applied for by the present holders of such licenses,
(or their successors,) and to whom beer licenses may hereafter be issued.
In the event that any or all of said beer licenses now in force shall
be revoked or issuance of a license to such holders refused for proper
cause, then not more than one such beer license shall be hereafter
issued in the said City of Weridian for each 1250 population, or por-
tion thereof.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Passed by the Oi ty Council and approved by the lliayor of the City
of Ueridian, Ada County, Idaho, this 3rd day of January, 1949.
