OIDINANCE NO. 30.
AN ORDINANCE TO PRESERVE T:ilE PEACE AND QUIET OF TIiE INHAB-
ITANTS OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR TilE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED .Y TiE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. Every person who disturbs the peace and quiet of
any neigb.orhood, t~ly or person .y loud and unusual noises,
.y tumultuous or offensive conduct, or .1 threatening, traducing,
quarreling, challenging to fight, or fighting, within the corp-
orate limits of the City of Meridian, Ada Coun.tJl-, Idaho, or who,
upon the public streets or alleys thereof, rUJIS any horse race, I'
or who fires any gun or pistol, or uses vulgar, profane, or in-
decent language in the presence or hearing of 'Women or Ohildren,
or who, _eing intoxicated and disorderly within the corporate l
limits of the said City of Mer~di~, is 3u1lty of a misdemeanor .__/
Section 2. Any person or persons violating any of the provisions
of this Ordinance, upon conviction thereof, shall be puniShable
.y a fine not exceeding Three Vundred Dollars ($300.00), or by
imprisonment in the City jail not exceeding six.months, or .Y
80th such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required by
law. . ' 4.
