Seotion 1. That. there be, and there hereby is levied upon all property,
both real and personal, which is taxable by law tor state snd county
purposes, in the 01ty ot Meridian, the following 'az88 for tbe filcal
year beginning tbe first day of May,l946, and ending the thirieth day
of April, 1947, as tollows:
For General purposes, the sum fifteen (l5) mills on the dollar.

For maintenance of munioipal Band, the sum of one (1) mill on the Doll~.

Section 2. that tbe Clty Clerk of tbe 8ald City Of Meridian, be snd is
bere~ required, upon the collection and payment of money derived from
the levies herein made, to I,licertain and appropriate to the respective
linking tunds ot the several bond issues, tbeir several and respective
portions ot the amounts 80 paid and collac\ed, suffioient for the
payment ot interest on the several bond issusl and for sinking funds
herein provided.
Seotion 3. "1hereas an emergency exists, this Ordinance shall be in full
foroe and effeot from Bnd after its passag8 ,approval ~nd pUblication.
Palsed by the City council and approved by tbe Mawor of_the City of
Meridian, Ada county, state of Idaho. this 4th day of September,1946.
