Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian,
Ada Coun ty , state 0 f Idaho.
Section 1~ That there be, and there hi hereby laT1ed upon all property,
both real and personal, whioh 1s taxable b~r law tor state and county
purposes, in the City of Meridian, the following tAxes for the fiscal
year be~inning with the first day of May, 1943, and ending the thirtieth
.day of April, 1944, as follows:
For Gener8l PUrpQses, the sum ot. tltteen(15) _ mills on the dollar.

For maintenanoe Of Fire Department, the sum of one(l) mill on the
dollar.
For meintenanoe Qf Munioipal Band, the sum of one(l) mill on the
dollar.
For interest and sinking fund tOr water Bonds, the sum of four and
two-',...tentha(4.8} mills on the dollar.
For interest and sinking fund for Sewer BondS, the sum at three Bnd
two-tenths (3.2) mills on the dollar.
For interest and sinking fund for Municipal coupon Jefunding Bonds
the sum of one andiSiea-tenths(l.'. mills on the dollar.
Section 2. That the Cit~r Clerk of said City of Meridian, be and is
hereby required, upon the collection snd payment ot money derived
from the leTies herein made, to 8scertAin and appropriate to the
respectiTe interest and sinking funds of the seTeral bond issues,
their seTeral and respeotiTe portions of the amounts so paid and
collected, sufficient for the payment of in*erest on several bond
issues And tor sinking funds herein proTided.
Seotion 3. '7hereas an emergenc~' exists, this ordinance sha 11 be in
