Public Hearing for Vanguard Village No. 1 (H-2026-0021) by Ahlquist, generally located on the south side of W. Grand Mogul Dr., midway between S. Black Cat Rd. and S. Ten Mile Rd. Approved A. Request: Vacation to vacate the southerly 5 feet of the 26-foot-wide landscape buffer easement along the south side of W. Grand Mogul Dr. on Lot 6, Block 1, Vanguard Village Subdivision No. 1. Motion to approve made by Councilwoman Strader, Seconded by Councilman Cavener. Voting Yea: Councilman Overton, Councilwoman Little Roberts, Councilman Whitlock, Councilwoman Strader, Councilman Taylor, Councilman Cavener 2. Public Hearing for Treviso Subdivision (SHP-2026-0006) by McCarter-Moorhouse, located at 1788 W. McMillan Rd. Approved A. Request: Short Plat consisting of a re-subdivision of 0.98 acres of land (i.e. Lot 2, Block 1 of Northpointe Commercial Subdivision) into two (2) building lots in the C-G zoning district. Motion to approve made by Councilman Whitlock, Seconded by Councilwoman Strader. Voting Yea: Councilman Overton, Councilwoman Little Roberts, Councilman Whitlock, Councilwoman Strader, Councilman Taylor, Councilman Cavener 3. Public Hearing for 2026 City Initiated Future Land Use Map Amendment (H-2026- 0006) by City of Meridian Planning Division, located City Wide Approved A. Request: Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment (CPAM) to redesignate four (4) West Ada School District properties from Mixed-Use Community, Industrial, Old Town, and Medium Density Residential to Civic and three (3) City of Meridian properties from Low and Medium Density Residential to Civic for the purpose of reflecting existing and anticipated uses. Motion to approve made by Councilman Whitlock, Seconded by Councilwoman Little Roberts. Voting Yea: Councilman Overton, Councilman Whitlock, Councilwoman Strader, Councilman Taylor, Councilman Cavener 4. Public Hearing for Durango Subdivision (H-2025-0017) by KM Engineering, LLP, generally located off the northeast corner of the N. McDermott Rd. Bypass and W. Ustick Rd. Approved A. Request: Annexation of 37.08 acres of land with R-8 (29.53 acres) and L-O (7.55 acres) zoning. B. Request: Preliminary Plat consisting of 127 residential lots and 6 commercial building lots and 14 common lots on 35.88 acres of land in the proposed R-8 and L-O zoning districts. Motion to approve made by Councilwoman Strader, Seconded by Councilman Whitlock. Public Hearing for Ustick Commercial (H-2025-0059 & H-2026-0007) by Hawkins Companies, located at 5900 W. Ustick Rd. Approved A. Request: Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment to change the Future Land Use Map designation on 4 acres of land from Medium Density Residential to Commercial (H- 2025-0059). B. Request: Annexation of 4.31 acres of land with a C-C zoning district. (H-2026-0007). C. Request: Preliminary Plat consisting of four (4) building lots on 4 acres of land in the C-C zoning district for McUstick Subdivision (H-2026-0007). Motion to approve made by Councilman Taylor, Seconded by Councilman Overton. Voting Yea: Councilman Overton, Councilwoman Little Roberts, Councilman Whitlock, Councilwoman Strader, Councilman Taylor, Councilman Cavener 6. Public Hearing for The Fields (H-2025-0057) by Idaho Holdings, located south of McMillan Rd, north of Ustick Rd. and between Can Ada Rd. and Owyhee Storm Ave. Approved A. Request: Annexation and Zoning of approximately 480.26 acres from RUT in Ada County to the proposed zoning districts of Community Business (C-C) (42.87 acres), Neighborhood Business (C-N) (45.63 acres), Medium Density Residential (R-8) (194.44 acres), Medium High Density Residential (R-15) (100.63 acres), Traditional Neighborhood Residential (TN-R) (45.05 acres) and Light Industrial (I-L) (51.64 acres). B. Request: Preliminary Plat consisting of 985 total lots on approximately 200.06 acres. This includes 899 residential lots (602 single-family detached units and 297 single- family attached units) and 72 common lots and 14 common drive lots. The development is proposed within the R-8 (157.48 acres) and R-15 (44 acres) zoning districts. C. Request: Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment for approximately +/-45.63 acres of land in the Southeast part of the development to be designated as Commercial (29.09 acres) from Mixed-Use Community and Medium High Density Residential (16.54 acres) from Medium Density residential and designate +/-45.63 acres of land to Civic from General Industrial for a future City Park. Motion to approve made by Councilman Taylor, Seconded by Councilwoman Little Roberts.
