Re: lericho Road Vacation/Exchange with Saguaro Hills
Dear Ms. Anderson: .
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed Vacation/Exchange for part
of Jericho Road and Hightower Subdivision.
COMPASS staff support the proposed action to consolidate access between the
Hightower Subivision and Jericho Road properties on the South side of Chinderi with the
Castlebury access from the North side of the highway.
Consolidating these access points on U.S. 20/26 is consistent with the long-range
transportation plan Communities in Motion, promoting efficient use of the highway and
increasing safety along the route. The proposed action also supports the Corridor
Preservation Study currently underway for the highway.
