Good afternoon. My name is Frank Vittorio and I live with my wife at 5350 W. Milano Dr. Meridian in the Oaks North housing division by McMillian and Black Cat Rd. I am sending this email to voice my concern about the Fields development across from Owyhee High school south of McMillian and along Star Rd. We have lived here almost two years and have seen certain amount of growth in that time. I know this area has been growing for a few years now and I am not against growth, its the amount of growth and what appears to be lack of infrastructure at this time to support it. In regards to the roads there is alot of one way roads where we live and that see heavy traffic during certain times of the day and especially on weekends. This development of adding around 1100 homes will cause alot more traffic issues if the roads are not widened or updated. I read an article from the Idaho Statesman that this development will put more pressure on the school system as well that the schools in this area are already at capacity. st Then there is the issue of fire, police 1 responders etc not sure if there is issues with agencies as well. But I can see issues starting if those services are not expanded. At the corner of Black and McMillian a development has been approved and they have started construction on 500 homes or so already which will put strain the current infrastructure as well. Our area of Meridian does not have alot of good shopping or restaurant choices as those are all pretty much across town on Eagle Rd and by the freeway. It recommended to cut the number of homes and mention that more commercial, school and other infrastructure be developed instead of the amount of homes. This email is sent as we moved from an area where that area was one way a certain number of years ago and then became another after over development which caused traffic, dirty air, trash, homelessness and crime. We dont want to see this area become that by over development. Thank you. 1 Sent from Outlook 2
