Good evening,
My name is Stephanie Mathis, and I live off of Black Cat and McMillan Rd in Meridian, ID 83646.
I want to officially oppose #H-2025-0057, the Fields proposed projects. We have grown too fast and too
much over the past decade in this specific region of Meridian, with not enough infrastructure put into
place to support the population; schools, emergency services, commercial amenities and roads to
sustain the rapid growth.
Additionally, HOA developers are out of control in Treasure Valley with little legislative oversight and
maximum profits, with very little proportionate economic absorption in the long term impact costs (ie,
they should build the roads, infrastructure, roundabouts, utility impacts/upgrades, etc- not the citizens).
The environmental impact and infrastructure should be put into place BEFORE any more developments
are approved. This is the order that the City Council should be proceeding in and I urge you all to pump
the breaks on new residential/high density developer projects in Meridian. Have them invest in the
public groundwork first, and their residential building and profit second.
