BY THE CITY COUNCIL: CAVENER,LITTLE ROBERTS,
OVERTON, STRADER, TAYLOR,WHITLOCK
A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FEE FOR LIQUOR, BEER, WINE LICENSE
TRANSFERS; AND AUTHORIZING THE MERIDIAN FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO
COLLECT SUCH FEE AS OF MAY 5, 2026.
WHEREAS, according to the requirements of Idaho Code section 63-1311A, the City
Council, by formal motion, did approve said fee of the Meridian Finance Department on November
15, 2025;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the fee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following fee shall be adopted as of May 5, 2026:
Fee description Fee amount
Liquor/beer/wine license transfer 1 $0.00 /$5.00/ $0.00
Section 2. That, as of May 5, 2026, the Meridian Finance Department shall be authorized to
implement and carry out the collection of said fees.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 5th day of May, 2026.
