STRADER, TAYLOR,WHITLOCK
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN SETTING
FORTH FINDINGS AND PURPOSES TO DECLARE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND
AUTHORIZING THE MERIDIAN CITY CLERK TO DONATE SURPLUS PROPERTY
(MEETING ROOM CHAIRS) TO COMPASS PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL, INC.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Meridian to declare that the used
furniture described in Exhibit A as surplus, as it is no longer needed or used by the City of
Meridian;
WHEREAS, the value of the property in question is of nominal value, that is, valued at
less than the cost of disposing of the property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian desires to donate the specified used furniture to
Compass Public Charter School, Inc., a designated 501(c)(3) educational organization.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN,IDAHO,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Council hereby authorize and declare that certain
furniture as attached hereto as Exhibit"A" is surplus property.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Council hereby authorize the conveyance of such
used furniture to Compass Public Charter School.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 21 st day of April,
2026.
APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 21 st day of April, 2026.
