Please let us know if this name is suitable and we will get a name reservation email to you. With the number of parcels included, please keep in mind that phases of the subdivision will need to be contiguous to a prior recorded phase to continue to use the same name. As an FYI—Either secondary name can be used with the unique primary name (ie: Agate Run or Larch Rise). Please let us know which name you prefer and a name reservation letter will be issued. Answer to your last question—concerning Owyhee Agate Sub,the first word (primary) is what is reserved so the name 'Owyhee' is already recorded as the primary name, and it would not be approvable unless the new plat is contiguous to the existing plat. In this case the word 'Agate'was a secondary word, which can be reused, and since there is no recorded plat or current reservation for the primary name "Agate", it would be reservable. Would "Agate Rise Subdivision" or"Larch Run Subdivision" be reservable names? It looks like "Owyhee Agate" is a reserved name already, not sure if "Agate" would be considered the primary or if"Owyhee"would. And "District" is currently reserved as a primary name so it also cannot be used in this location. And per Ada County Surveyors Office Plat Naming Policy- 3. Plat names shall not begin with an article ("A" or"The" or other similar words) or use prepositions ("At" or"Near" or other similar words). This is required by the Recorder's office so that subdivision names sort correctly in the public records search software. Please provide a new unique primary name for consideration. Please also verify parcel No. SO431223100 it does not appear to be a current parcel. A link is included below to a search function on the Ada County Surveyors website which will assist you in weeding out names that cannot be reserved. The search is more accurate if fewer words are used in the search for a primary name. Such as 'blue'. Rule of thumb is that if you can find the primary name, chances are that it cannot be used.
