Good morning Stephanie,
The name "Agate Subdivision"would be reservable.
Please let us know if this name is suitable and we will get a name reservation email to you.
With the number of parcels included, please keep in mind that phases of the subdivision will need to be contiguous to a prior recorded
phase to continue to use the same name.
Thank you,

Good morning Stephanie,
Both names "Agate Rise Subdivision" and "Larch Run Subdivision" are reservable.
As an FYI—Either secondary name can be used with the unique primary name (ie: Agate Run or Larch Rise).
Please let us know which name you prefer and a name reservation letter will be issued.
Answer to your last question—concerning Owyhee Agate Sub,the first word (primary) is what is reserved so the name 'Owyhee' is
already recorded as the primary name, and it would not be approvable unless the new plat is contiguous to the existing plat. In this
case the word 'Agate'was a secondary word, which can be reused, and since there is no recorded plat or current reservation for the
primary name "Agate", it would be reservable.

Hi Frank,
Hoping I can run a couple of additional subdivision name options by you for the property I inquired about last week. Would "Agate Rise
Subdivision" or"Larch Run Subdivision" be reservable names? It looks like "Owyhee Agate" is a reserved name already, not sure if
"Agate" would be considered the primary or if"Owyhee"would.
Thanks for your help on this,

Good afternoon Stephanie,
The Primary (first) name "Field" has already been recorded and therefore the name "field" cannot be used in this location.
And "District" is currently reserved as a primary name so it also cannot be used in this location.
And per Ada County Surveyors Office Plat Naming Policy-
3. Plat names shall not begin with an article ("A" or"The" or other similar words) or use prepositions ("At" or"Near" or other
similar words). This is required by the Recorder's office so that subdivision names sort correctly in the public records
search software.
Please provide a new unique primary name for consideration.
Please also verify parcel No. SO431223100 it does not appear to be a current parcel.
A link is included below to a search function on the Ada County Surveyors website which will assist you in weeding out
names that cannot be reserved. The search is more accurate if fewer words are used in the search for a primary name.
Such as 'blue'.
Rule of thumb is that if you can find the primary name, chances are that it cannot be used.

A link is also included to the current Ada County Subdivision Naming Policy is included below as a guide to what is allowed.

Good Morning,
We are working on a new single-family residential subdivision in Meridian located west of Owyhee Storm in between Ustick and
McMillan.There are several parcels included in the overall project—Nos SO431223100, SO431110200, SO432223120, SO432223400,
S0432212400, S0432233900, S0432244240, S0432244220, S0432325565, S0432325555, S0432336250, S0432346730 &SO432346750.
The subdivision will include approximately 200 acres of the overall +/-400 acre property. Those parcels are: SO432233900,
S0432244240, S0432244220, S0432325565, S0432346730, S0432325555 &SO432336250.
Our client would like to reserve the subdivision name: "The Fields Subdivision" or"The Fields District Subdivision"
It appears that there are some subdivision names with "Field(s)" incorporated, but wondering if"The Fields Subdivision" or"The
Fields District Subdivision" is unique enough that it could be used. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated!
