The following requirements shall be reviewed with a Conditional Use Permit application for a drive-through. 1. Site Layout & Building Placement a. Orient main facade and entrance of buildings toward main street. b. Locate stacking lanes behind or beside the building c. Stacking lanes should be screened with landscaping, low walls, or berms where visible from the sidewalk. 2. Pedestrian-Oriented Frontages a. Encourage patios, benches, or cafe seating between the building and sidewalk. b. Provide fagade transparency: minimum 40-60% glazing on street- facing ground floor. c. Active frontages (indoor/outdoor seating, display windows) facing the street. iii 3. Streetscape&Sidewalk Experience a. Maintain a continuous 5-1Oft sidewalk free of obstructions. b. Warm wood-tone elements may be incorporated at entries, balconies, or key architectural moments to provide additional depth and character. The internal circulation system establishes clear, EE UI_1E ��„E„_L tE i connected routes between residential neighborhoods, commercial centers, and community open spaces, creating a { safe and convenient alternative to vehicular travel. Two primary pathway types are proposed throughout the development, which shall be constructed in accordance with the following standards: & L AL • Macro Pathways. Where these pathways run adjacent to public roadways, they will be separated from the curb by a Lawn park strip, providing both a comfortable buffer for pedestrians and cyclists and an enhanced landscaped edge consistent with Meridian's streetscape objectives. r • Micro Pathways. Micropathways will function as secondary neighborhood connectors and will range from 5 to 8 feet in width, depending on context.
